Found this non runner 1960’s Agrati Capri Scooter on Gumtree – which looked pretty original and complete so I decided to do a restoration project. Agrati was an Italian company founded in the 1960’s by ex employees of Vespa and Lambretta – but the machines do not have the same status (or value) as the others. They use a Garelli 2 stroke engine which comes in a variety of models and sizes. This was a 98cc version.
In all honesty I never really enjoyed working on this scooter and was delighted when I got it finished, out of my garage and shipped off to a new owner
